Your Guide

Dr. Jaclyn Foster
Licensed Integrative Happiness Coach, Writer. Chiropractor, Acupuncture and Hypnotherapy. And so much more.
Jaclyn isn’t your average healer—she’s a soul-stirring, spine-aligning, cappuccino-making powerhouse who sees through your BS and lovingly calls you into your greatness. With bold East Coast authenticity and a deeply compassionate heart, she blends soul healing with practical “let’s fix this” energy.
Jaclyn is a Holistic Chiropractor and Integrative Happiness Coach with certifications in Chinese Medicine and anatomical acupuncture, plus licensed training in Hypnotherapy and NLP. This means she’ll guide you into your unconscious, rearrange the mental furniture, and help you remember your power and joy—if you want to say yes.
Whether she’s helping you rise from burnout and exhaustion or reignite your inner spark, Jaclyn’s mission is clear. She is passionate about helping you remember why you are here now, showing you how to feel better about your life immediately, by realigning your inner compass. She will teach you how you how to live authentically from your unique self and purpose; guide you towards feeling whole from the inside out; show you how to have more meaningful connections in your relationships, and, most importantly, guide you to see the big picture and hear your soul’s sacred wisdom.
Outside the office, Jaclyn is a devoted mama, a perpetual learner, and a low-key philosopher whom you’ll hear quoting Carl Jung, Rick Rubin and Mary Oliver. She’ll coach you through a crisis while offering up Earl Grey tea like its medicine. She writes creative non-fiction on her Substack and she reconnects with herself at her grand piano. Her greatest mission is helping people break through blocks to feel like themselves, again. She’s not here to fix you—she’s here to remind you that you were always whole. If you want to live from your soul and actually enjoy this wild, beautiful ride, Jaclyn’s your girl.

This retreat will endeavour to balance solitude with connection. Throughout the weekend, Jaclyn will host three 90-minute group workshops where you will learn how to tap into your soul’s deepest wisdom and take home the TOOLKIT for life mastery. Jaclyn will teach you about The Power of Choice to create the life you crave; The Potential of Resistance to strengthen your resolve; and The TOOLKIT for Making Life Happen for You. We will enjoy a riverside bonfire on Friday night and close with a guided boat tour of the pristine French River, including a geographical history lesson delivered to you straight from our owner and host Alex Strachan, who began this dream retreat location 26 years ago. Hypnotherapy meditation sessions will be offered throughout the weekend, including during the workshops, as well as an extra optional early-morning meditation offered on Saturday morning.
