“Gorgeous, relaxing honeymoon.”
A large and private cottage that has splendid views of the French River. The sun sets into this cottage for a good part of the season. A kitchen and dining area open into a living room and then via French doors, onto a screened porch. The large private bedroom also has a screened porch – leave the doors open on warm nights. One of our finer cottages.
Sun rises to the south of this cottage and sets to the north
Paul Kane painted Canadian First Nations peoples, in the mid-1800s and his work has contributed to ethnologists understanding of First Nations and pre-modern Canada. Kane travelled the French River several times on his way to the West.
From time to time we will interest you with developments at the lodge - projects, competitions, the river & the environment.
