“Gorgeous, relaxing honeymoon.”
A large and private cottage that has splendid views of the French River. The sun sets into this cottage for a good part of the season. A kitchen and dining area open into a living room and then via French doors, onto a screened porch. A few steps down to the master bedroom also has a copper tub & screened porch – leave the doors open on warm nights. A separate bedroom is accessed through a breezeway at the front of the cottage. This is equipped with its own screened in porch & three piece bathroom. One of our finer cottages.
Sun rises to the south of this cottage and sets to the north
Paul Kane painted Canadian First Nations peoples, in the mid-1800s and his work has contributed to ethnologists understanding of First Nations and pre-modern Canada. Kane travelled the French River several times on his way to the West.
From time to time we will interest you with developments at the lodge - projects, competitions, the river & the environment.
